2010 Recap

Dear Friends and Family,

2010 was an amazing and crazy year.

January – On January 13th Gabrian John Fisher was born.  Unlike his sister, he eats everything and anything all day long.  At one point he was 24 pounds to his 4 year old sisters 32.  He loves to give hugs and always gets excited when Kora walks in the room.   Kora is a wonderful big sister.

May – We made our first trip to Disneyland the first week of May.  Kora loved meeting the Princesses and visiting Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow. We visited Santa Monica Pier and Newport Beach during our week long vacation. The fun thing was a month later, Joanie and the Family joined Adam back in Malibu, California for two weeks during a work engagement.  Needless to say by the end of June we were tired of Hotels.

July - In the middle of July, Adam applied for a new position in Europe.   At first we thought, “Wouldn’t that be an adventure”, but in August things started to take shape and we flew back to California and interviewed for the new position.  After careful consideration of leaving the “Land of the Free” and with much thought and prayer we made the decision to accept the new position in October.  With a start date of Mid-January, it did not leave us much time to make arrangements.  With Adam traveling for more than half the year and flying to Germany twice since October, Joanie still managed to pack up the house and we are now on our way to Jolly Old England.  We then sold our house in seven days and have either stored, shipped, sold or donated all our earthly possessions and we now realize we are never buying anything ever again…. Oh, wait! We have to buy new furniture once we get there….

September- Kora also started preschool this year and loved her teachers and making new friends.  She will miss them but is excited about the new friends she will make in England.  Kora enjoyed being on center stage twice this year as she performed with her dance class in May and December.

December- Gabrian continues to grow and is now crawling and standing wherever he can.  He loves to laugh and is a blessing to us every day.

We hope you had a great holiday and have a wonderful New Year.  We look forward to the next time we meet.  Please let us know how you are doing.

Love,
The Fishers
